Join us for a discussion on Crimean Tatar history and cultural heritage with leading experts from the Ukrainian NGO El Cheber. Founded in 2014, El Cheber is dedicated to researching, preserving, and developing the culture of Crimea's indigenous peoples.
Their latest project, "From Crimea to Denmark," explores the historical and cultural exchanges between the Kingdom of Denmark and the Crimean Khanate while highlighting the endangered cultural heritage of the Crimean Peninsula.
This time, our guests from Ukraine include:
· Rustem Skybin, master ceramist and cultural expert on Crimean-Tatar heritage, the honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine;
· Gul'nara Abdulayeva, leading historian of the Crimean Khanate and author of numerous publications;
· Zakhida Adylova, cultural expert and project coordinator.
At the event, you'll have the opportunity to explore El Cheber's cultural projects and engage with top experts on the current state of Crimean cultural and historical heritage.
Programme:
14:00 - Welcome from Ukrainian Dialogues and El Cheber
14:10 - Project presentation with Zakhida Adylova
