&. Wednesday the 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th of May5pm - 7pm be ready to begin at 5pm. We will continue on this journey of settling and landing into our bodies, into the rising ground, and into the rising ground of our partners.
We focus on the more technical and physical aspects of CI. In order to arrive at a freedom of movement that comes from within, our bodies need to repeat some of the more difficult patterns and path ways. That's why we focus on "technique"; for you to feel safe and free to improvise.
These sessions are for you if you wish to get a little nerdy about movement.
We will continue to explore various core principles throughout these sessions. And most of all find curiosity, play, and freedom to move.
We're very excited to continue this journey into the subtle language of the body.
Theis and Julia, both experienced teachers, and very experienced CI practitioners. We spend a lot of time together trying to figure out what works, and how to pass it on. Our shared interest is very much in the field of "listening". To us CI is about listening, and sometimes listening to the listening. We have a very playful attitude towards learning and teaching, and we consider ourselves more learners than teachers always.
Theis has been teaching dance and martial arts for more than twenty years. Julia has been teaching dance and handstand for more than fifteen years. Our journeys have finally intertwined in CI.
A maximum of 20 participants / first come first serve
A commited journey of 4 consecutive Wednesdays, throughout the month of May, beginning on the 8th.
2 hours; 5pm - 7pm / possibility to be there earlier and stay for a while after at the seating area by the studio (studio opens at 5)
Tea kitchen available, as well as changing rooms and showers.
