Have you ever thought about writing your own play? Maybe you have an idea for a play you'd like to develop or you have already written something and would like some inspiration for fine-tuning it into a stageable piece.

If you feel you have the heart of a playwright this class is for you!Whether finding your artistic voice or fully perfecting your storytelling, the aspects of examination and action required remain the same. The most advanced craftsperson must continue to dig deeply in order to extract and unleash the best and most profound concepts worth a live audience's rapt attention.This 5 month in-person course, will take your writing to the next level with solid, part-time work. Each class is a multi-hour session that is structured to build your work in real time, while also addressing the progression of skills, character and structure needed to craft a well-articulated play. You will be guided through thematic challenges, exercises/prompts and receive individualized attention during the 4-hour live sessions, as well as weekly check-ins and accountability discourse weekly.Each participant will be given the opportunity to witness their work presented in a staged reading with pro-level student actors."It was wonderful to get the opportunity to work in-depth with my piece and look at it through the eyes of others, as well as getting to experience other playwright's processes. (Yes, it's a big number though in this case, not an exaggeration.)Currently teaching at Københavns Film og Teaterskolen, Paul specializes in teaching people to create artistically rewarding work in which they get out of their own way and say what truly needs to be said.Originally from NYC, Paul divides his time between Denmark and NY, teaching and lecturing, live and online. He holds a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Art.
Down the Rabbit Hole International TheatreThis master class is brought to you by Down the Rabbit Hole. Down The Rabbit Hole is a theatre company focused on the expansion of innovative, international English and multi-language theatre in Denmark since 2016. Under the artistic direction of Jeremy M. Thomas-Bøgsted, Rabbit Hole has produced over 20 professional theatre productions in Denmark, toured internationally and produced several yearly festivals including Cph Queer Theater Festival.
