Join us for an in-depth exploration of the flag as an artistic form, inspired by Kunsthal Aarhus' current exhibition Red Flags by Nønne Mai Svalholm. Our chief curator, Peter Ole Pedersen, alongside artist Nønne Mai Svalholm, will delve into the work Red Flags as well as Kunsthal Aarhus' annual flag installation A Flag is a Piece of Fabric, which this year features Raul Walch's Heat Flag (Aarhus). Together, they will explore what makes the flag a fascinating and complex artistic object
After the talk, you will have the opportunity to experience a live performance by the participants from the Red Flags performance held at Aarhus City Hall in March 2024.
