Professor of Sport and Health Sciences, and Pro-Licence football coach, Peter Krustrup, will tell about 20 years of research in Football as Medicine, for children, adolescents, adults and elderly
Did you know that recreational football training is an effective tool to prevent and treat non-communicable diseases, like cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis, and to promote physical, mental and social well-being
Football training can be used to increase the number of healthy living years, and may even be "a secret for superagers". Peter will tell you how, and why, and will encourage you to start training right away, independently of prior experience or skills, cause Football is For All and Football is For Life - and it's never too early to start.

PhD. Peter Krustrup is Professor of Sport and Health Sciences at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics at SDU, where is also sits as Chair of Health Science at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study
Peter has received multiple awards including the "Men's Health Award" in 2010 and the Danish Football Association "A Part of Something Bigger" award in 2014, and "Danskernes Idrætspris" in 2017. He has also been nominated for "Kulturministerens Idrætspris" three times in 2008, 2013 and 2018. In October 2021, he won the University of Southern Denmark Research Communication Award
In 2011 he was included in Marquis Who's Who in the World. In 2023 appeared on the BBC documentary "Secrets of the Superagers"
As a UEFA Pro-License football coach, besides academia Peter is working as a Fitness Coach for the Danish Women's National Team.
