Granada ImproFest "GIF", recognised with the EFFE label, is an improvised arts festival celebrated in Copenhagen/Frederiksberg, alternating editions between Granada (SP) as a yearly rotational festival.
GIF takes place in the form of a 3-day festival, 26th-28th August, inviting mainly musicians from the jazz/improvised Danish and Spanish music scene. With an interdisciplinary nature, GIF aims to create a platform where artists from different art scenes can exchange their ideas, creative processes and methods - and ultimately create unique performances together that will be presented at the festival.
