It's time for Son and Rueda de Son! Tanja is coming back to Odense Salsaforening offering Son for all levels!
Son is elegance and intensity, and Son gives us a special understanding of some important elements of salsa music.
We must work on that musical understanding which is part of what makes son special. When added to our salsa it gives us the delicious soft start to a song or the possibility to cheekily change up the timing and utilise different accents in the music.
Come and join her for Rueda de Son workshops where all levels of dancers can learn Son in the fun Rueda formation.
Programme:
17:30 - 18:30 - Workshop 1: Intro to/Open level Son
For all dancers. Experienced Son dancers can refresh their skills and learn some new combinations whilst Son newbies will experience a quick paced taster of dancing Son.
18:45 - 19:45 - Workshop 2: Rueda de Son for improvers.
For dancers that already know son timing and are ready to play with dancing son in the Rueda de Casino formation.
20:00 - 21:00 - Workshop 3: Rueda de Son for intermediates.
For dancers who are already comfortable with dancing basic son material in the Rueda de Casino formation and want to work further with more complicated combinations!
